Hello! My name is Monique! I have spent my career in the creative space. I started as a designer, moved to art directing and managing creative teams while always fully entrenched in creative operations. I am the one that makes order out of chaos. The one who has never met a problem that couldn’t be solved. I don’t take “no” for an answer, there is always a “yes” somewhere inside!
As a creative and strategic leader of graphic and web design I translate larger picture business strategy into digestible pieces that can be creatively interpreted and built into a cohesive visual identity for brands or specific campaigns. Throughout the years I’ve brought my brand of magic to some big name businesses like: MTV Networks, CVS Health, AETNA, Oxford University Press, and Stonyfield Organic.
More Moxy is my love letter to the communities that have held me up. It is a design and creative strategy consultancy specializing in building a clear visual identity through creative strategy, digital and graphic design, and creative operations for black churches and black women led businesses.
Monique’s superpower is creating effective business solutions for humans, in bold italics because with her strategic sensibilities she can deftly assess, craft and implement a number of ways at solving the particulars of a situation, but she knows in her heart and through experience that caring to truly understand the intended audience/end-user is the surest path to delivering something easy to implement with a lasting effect.
